Capitol Hill and D.C. Bike-Sharing Programs Announced

Representative Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) and House Chief Administrator, Dan Beard, just announced the Wheels4Wellness program. A bike sharing program that will make 30 bikes available for running errands and getting to meetings around Capitol Hill.

Likewise, the City of Washington D.C. will be the first American city to roll out a bike-sharing program. It is launching with only 120 bikes at 10 stations, so it’s no Paris Velib’, but it’s a great start!
