Privacy Policy

Bike Pittsburgh and bike-pgh.org respect your privacy. Here’s a breakdown of what we do or do not do.

  1. We don’t share your information. With anyone, ever. So feel free to register with the site, get on our mailing lists, become a member, participate in comments or the forum, and rest easy knowing that we won’t be selling any of your contact information off to the bad guys. However, remember that when you post a comment to our blog or participate in the forums, everything you share with the site is visible by anyone viewing the site (except your email address, which we only use as a SPAM deterrent and do not make visible on the site itself). Also, our employees and contractors, at times, do have access to your personal information, strictly for the purpose of providing you with service or support.
  2. We do use cookies. But primarily to remember your login information (username and password) so that you don’t have to login every time you enter the site. To avoid these tasty morsels you can either disable cookies in your browser, or just not check the Remember Me box when you sign in.
  3. We do collect some personal information outside of what you supply us during the registration process. This includes, but is not limited to, your IP address and your ISP. Again, we don’t share this and it’s primarily collected to help us fight the evil that is SPAM.

If you have any questions or comments, please visit our contact page and let us know your inner most feelings.
