With all of the news, stories, and experiences concerning cycling recently, I think it is important for us all to take a step back and thank Bike Pittsburgh for all of the hard work they have done in the past to get us to the point where we are now.
Think about how the city used to be compared to now--it's not perfect, but the improvement is huge! We are starting to see more bike lane, more racks, and most of all, more understanding drivers.
Plus, as the community grows in numbers it also pulls people closer. I would be willing to bet that 80% of the people I consider my friends today, I would never have met if it wasn't for Bike Pittsburgh.
Without Scott, Erok, Lou, interns, and all of the members, my life wouldn't be what it is.
Thanks Guys!
