i'm trying to build a new bike but am going to have to build at least my rear wheel because i want to put in a 3 speed internal hub (which is why i need the 36 hole rims)

just thought i'd see if anyone randomly had anything like this they were looking to sell. if so reply here or email me at hmhale@gmail.com

    thanks!

My apologies for being off topic, but your profile image is driving me nuts, what's the story on that? Anime?
BTW, good choice on using the 3 spd, I'm a huge fan of internal. Harris cyclery sells, among other 3 spd parts, a big 23 tooth cog that will slip right on most common hubs, I have one, really nice on the hills. Most 3 spds are geared for, like, Amsterdam.

Also a big fan of Internal hubs, I found a three speed with a coaster brake at free ride and put it on a 26". I bought a 7-speed Shimano with coaster brake for a 700c Velocity rim and I'm building a matching front wheel with a Shimano generator/disc brake. I just need to find the right frame. The actual reason for this email besides bragging about my new hubs, I recently acquired several rims, I'll go down and look at them, count holes see if theres any 700c 36 hole. I also have two vintage Sturmey Archer 3 speed coaster brake hubs, they are 40 hole, hard to find rims for. I would let one go for free if someone wants to use it, the thing is used, how much? I have no idea. So even free, you still need to build a wheel, spokes, rim, labor. Kinda why I bought a new one, I wanna ride a really nice bike and have some money to do so.

M13II is new. I built it once for practice but it has never been rode. It has some storage/unexperienced-builder wear. $15? My contact details are in a PM.

depends on how much you are willing to spend.

i like Salsa Delgado rims. I have them on my commuter and they are awesome. Nice and wide for larger tires and very solid overall. There was some talk about cracks near the nipples, but I have not experienced anything like that.

I also like the Sun CR18. Similar profile and style to the Delgado, but I think has single eyelets vs. double.

and Mark, I have a new pair of 32h Open Sport rims. Let me know if you want them.
