Jay Weinberg is mad about gasoline prices. And he’s taken to his bicycle to show it.
Weinberg, 29, a musician, made a pit stop yesterday in the city on his 600-mile trip from his hometown of Valparaiso, Ind., to Washington, D.C., in protest of high gas prices and the nation’s dependence on fossil fuels. Read more»

The fact that his wife followed him in a car on his journey kinda makes this whole thing a little less of a powerful statement. I still apluad his efforts, but it just shows still how dependant we are on cars even when we are trying to shed light on their destructive nature.
