Last year was awesome and I've already been recruiting new riders.

I'm probably out this year...got a brevet near Philly that weekend. Assuming I don't wimp out, of course.

This will be the perfect excuse to not ride in the 24 hours of Big Bear!

details are as i know them:
June 7 and 8th.
Meet in Cranberry at ride start, drop off your sleeping materials, etc and get ready to ride! Eat some pbjs.
Rest stops abound, every 12 miles or so. MORE pbjs.
Eventually you get to Allegheny College Campus, pick up your duds, set up camp with your awesome Bike PGH team mates, get dinner, go swimming if you want, hith the drunk bus for town if you want, sleep, and wake back up at 6am. Eat breakfast and ride some more!

You'll arrive in ohio, eat, and then load your bike on a truck and take a bus back to Cranberry with your awesome team mates.

And thats it! Registration is 35 bux and then you raise 250 +. I'll register and start a Bike PGH team soon. I think you can register already, and there is a bike fit workshop in the south side sometime in march.

35 registration per person, and then each person needs to raise 250. its way easier than you think. most people are willing to give a couple bucks each, and you can have a party, and alley cat race, etc.

right... i'm not worried about raising money really, one of my friends was diagnosed at 21 so 250 should really just be a drop in the bucket if I play my cards right... hopefully i'm right!

I'm doing it again this year... maybe even on a geared bike.

PS: I take pies to work and put out a donation bucket. It works pretty well.
