berry ride
i was wondering if anyone was interested in joining me on a berry picking expedition on the youghiogheny river trail. i'm bringing my trailer to carry some jugs. right now should be blackberry season and there's still be a few black raspberries out and if were lucky we'll catch a few early thimbleberries.
i'll be leaving pittsburgh early on sunday morning and camping out at round bottom (mile 48), then on monday gathering berries on the way home for jam and wine.

aww, i've been wanting to do that trail recently. however, i will be in vermont.
i see mulberries are still dropping too

well if you're around in august i'll be heading back down there for apples and elderberries. have fun in vermont!
