Where to report specific problems?
I was on the river trail by the 31st Street Bridge a few days ago and saw a tree down. It was possible to get by, but the trail was narrowed considerably.
Where should problems like this be reported? In-city maybe 311, but what if you don't know which of 130-some municipalities you're in?
Maybe we should have a forum right here so we can get them passed along to whomever, as well as alert others?

RE: Where to report specific problems?
Wes set a system up for this a couple of years ago. I guess this is a good time for a reminder. You can report a road hazard or a trail hazard ANYWHERE in southwestern Pennsylvania at www.spcregion.org Click on transportation, ped-bike and report a missing link or report a road hazard. (Doesn't matter which - they both actually go to the same place.) The comments will then get routed to the appropriate entity for their information/action. Or, if you are in the City, or think you might be in the City, call 311.
