Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Events!
Hi everyone. Here are some volunteer opportunities we really need your help with. Just let us know what you can help with and at what time and we'll sign you up! Please email me at scott@bike-pgh.org. Everyone who volunteers gets a free Bike Pittsburgh t-shirt!
April 26th
Bike Valet @ Art All Night (Warehouse at 57th St and the River in Lawrenceville)
6pm to 12am
Description: We need two people at a time for two-hour shifts starting at 6pm. Table, Park bikes, and make sure no one takes anything.. oh, and then give the bikes back to their owners.
May 16th
Bike to Work Day Biker Breakfast @ Whole Foods
8am to 10am
Description: Need 1 person to table, give out food, and talk to folks about Bike Pittsburgh.
May 17th
Venture Outdoors Fest
11am - 5pm
Description: We need at least one person for each two-hour time slot. Help us talk to hundreds of event goers about Bike Pittsburgh. Sign folks up for our newsletter and as members.
May 21st
Ride of Silence
7pm to ?
Description: Need one or more people to take the lead on organizing this national event locally. For more info: rideofsilence.org/
Now through July 6th
BikeFest '08
Description: We need event leaders and ride organizers. We also need a lot of help setting up, staffing, and cleaning up for our Fund Raiser Party on June 27th. Also, if you're interested in planning an event, check out the thread on BikeFest here for ideas. Email us at bikefest@bike-pgh.org to set a date/time or for any help/questions.
